This morning Sarah went to a cafe to clear the apartment for my 0930 Spanish class. It wasn't raining when she left, but by the time my class was over, she was trapped in the cafe watching the water level rise well above the sidewalk.
Drivers abandoned their cars in the streets and waded away on foot.
Sarah did not want to step into water that was surely polluted with the dog piles that normally carpet the sidewalk. Plus, the water was still rising.
All of these pictures were taken within 150 meters of our apartment.
Sarah had to wait an hour before she could safely wade home.
Fortunately our pool didn't quite overflow.

Estoy muy envidioso de su situacion incluso que tuvieron la inundacion y perdiera a su pequeno elf. Adivino que fue su tiempo de encontrar una casa nueva. Estoy entusiasmado de verlos muy pronto, bien 6, 7 meses antes que no encontramos y tenemos otra fiesta de gin y tonic. Una mirada de su apartamento y veo que el balcon es un lugar perfecto para un juego de pelota de encurtido. La piscina esta muy bien tambien aunque no pueda ver mi confiado "Free Willy"
Espere que todavia esten listos para Ushuaia.
Mantendremos el ojo en sus aventuras.
