Our Apartment

This is intended to be a tedious Blog about how a couple of gringos from the small town of Portland Or. make their way in the great big City in the South. Thus for purposes of orientation, I will start by showing off our fancy apartment.

We have a 650 square foot 2 bedroom 1.5 bath apartment featuring a balcony with a cage around it.

We share this pool with some of the nicest Portenos we know. We haven't been invited to dinner yet though. I attribute that to our limited Spanish skills.

So this is where we live. We intended to stay here for 30 days then move to a better cheaper and more permanent place. However, after an exhaustive search, we haven't found that place yet. So we start our third month here next week.
